Job Title: Asset Investment Surveyor

Job Purpose:
To oversee the delivery of planned and cyclical maintenance programmes and projects on all properties owned or managed by MMP Consultancy, ensuring that projects are completed to agreed standards and meet customer satisfaction expectations. This includes budgetary control, contract management, service coordination, and administration.

The Role:
  1. Develop and implement annual assessments for each property to identify and prioritize improvement works, ensuring the planned maintenance programme is updated and delivered in line with the Asset Management Strategy.
  2. Manage planned maintenance projects within time, quality, and budget requirements, including the management of tenders to ensure they are issued and assessed in advance of the new financial year.
  3. Oversee the implementation, progress, completion, and monitoring of cyclical maintenance programmes, including the development of specifications, schedules, and technical information.
  4. Ensure contracts and other works are awarded fairly and equitably in line with the Procurement Policy and associated procedures.
  5. Organize service equipment visits, inspect assets, and review contractor servicing reports to identify and generate follow-on orders for remedial works.
  6. Maintain thorough arrangements for contract management quality control and reporting of works, including expenditure authorization monitoring and control.
  7. Collaborate with Finance to ensure service charges cover reasonably foreseen replacement items and have sufficient provisions available.
