About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading housing group, providing high-quality legal advice on a broad range of commercial property law matters. As a Commercial Property Paralegal, you will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of commercial property and general property law, with a particular focus on landlord and tenant.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Undertake all aspects of commercial property and general property law, including drafting commercial leases, licences for land occupation, and telecommunication leases.
  • Support with commercial shop leases, assignment, deed of surrender, and rent deposits and forfeiture.
  • Undertake general boundary disputes, ownership queries, encroachment, trespassing, and general property litigation.
  • Support with land rectification matters, including land swaps to third parties, title anomalies, and associated conveyancing.
Requirements:
  • A law degree or other relevant professional qualification.
  • Experience as a Paralegal, Qualified Solicitor, or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of one year PQE (two years desirable) with exposure to working in-house or in a law firm practicing commercial property or general property law.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to produce reports and deliver presentations and training.
