About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Recovery Worker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our clients, working closely with them to achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored support
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service is maintained
  • Providing information and guidance to clients on various topics, including health and wellbeing, benefits, and employment
  • Supporting clients in achieving their goals, such as education, training, and employment
  • Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the development of new ideas and initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience working in a health, social care, or criminal justice setting, preferably with individuals with substance misuse issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Highly organized and able to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • A driving license is desirable, but not essential
