Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Atlantis Medical. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of health conditions based on clinical evaluation and expertise.
  • Perform advanced clinical procedures such as suturing, minor surgery, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention, and act as a role model and mentor for other nursing staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Influence the development of policies and practices within the healthcare setting, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in nursing practice.
  • Educate and mentor nursing staff, students, and other healthcare professionals, and facilitate training and development programs.
  • Engage in research activities to contribute to the evidence base of nursing practice, and engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Represent nursing at various forums and committees, and advocate for the nursing profession and patient care at a local, regional, and national level.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse
  • Master's award in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Knowledge of Clinical Governance and its application in practice
  • Broad in-depth knowledge of all aspects of health issues encompassing childhood/adulthood
  • Working knowledge of vulnerable adult and child protection procedures
  • Experienced in palliative care, chronic disease management, and wound management
  • Confident and competent in a wide range of clinical skills
