About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Histopathologist to join our team at the Poundbury Cancer Institute. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services in histopathology and molecular diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct histopathological examinations and provide accurate diagnoses
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure high standards of service
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and a license to practice
  • Relevant higher qualification in histopathology or a related field
  • Experience in histopathology and molecular diagnostics
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
