About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our ASPIRE project, which aims to increase awareness of different career paths, build confidence, and enable students and alumni to access the broader Haberdashers' community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an agreed policy and five-year strategy for the ASPIRE programme, supporting the Trust vision and objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of mentors, ensuring their effective engagement and ongoing management.
  • Work in partnership with schools and the Haberdashers' Company to ensure safeguarding checks are conducted, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our students.
  • Develop creative methods of engaging stakeholders to become mentors and oversee the effective coordination and administration of events and activities linked to the Aspire programme.
  • Build links and connections between the Trust's schools and the private business sector, providing opportunities for young people to learn about business and entrepreneurship.
  • Stay updated with the latest research in mentoring and career development, promoting equal opportunities and inclusion, and addressing any issues immediately if they arise.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, career development, and mentoring, with excellent communication and project management skills. They will be able to work effectively in a team, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensure the smooth running of the ASPIRE programme.
