Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Recreation Leadership Role candidate to join our Property and Facilities team at Taituarā. This is a senior leadership position that requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies, systems, policies, plans, procedures, and programs for recreation and facilities management, ensuring effective management of Freedom Camping across the district, and providing high-level advice and support to Council.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies, systems, policies, plans, procedures, and programs for recreation and facilities management. Ensure effective management of Freedom Camping across the district. Provide high-level advice and support to Council to support decision making. Lead and manage the Property and Facilities team to deliver high-quality professional service delivery. Prepare reports, submissions, project briefs, quotations, and tenders related to property and facilities activities. Manage maintenance contracts for community facilities. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the management of community facilities.

Requirements
A tertiary degree in a business-related field. 5 years' management experience. Proven leadership skills. Demonstrated experience in project development, policy, and procedure development. Ability to provide high-level advice and support to Council. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Estimated salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
