Job Summary:

Pertemps Bond is seeking a skilled Procurement Coordinator to join our team. As a key player in our procurement function, you will be responsible for planning and prioritizing supply activities, collaborating with various departments, and managing UK Extrusion procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and prioritize supply activities, ensuring seamless execution of procurement processes.
  • Review planned orders and create requisitions for raw materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Support the Procurement Specialist with all procurement functions, including procurement planning, vendor management, and contract administration.
  • Provide holiday/absence cover for the Procurement Specialist, ensuring continuity of procurement operations.
  • Manage UK Extrusion procurement, including the forecast process and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Track order acknowledgments, prepare and communicate shortage and backlog reports, and ensure internal customers are informed of potential interruptions.
  • Track orders and confirm system lead times, delivery dates, and costs, ensuring accurate and timely procurement.
  • Review, update, and maintain purchase orders until closure, ensuring compliance with supplier agreements and contracts.
  • Ensure orders comply with supplier agreements and contracts, and report any non-conformances, maintaining a high level of procurement quality.
  • Assist finance and logistics staff in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and implement actions to achieve them, driving continuous improvement in procurement processes.
  • Purchase lamination adhesives, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Control inventory levels against budget, ensuring optimal inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Experience with SAP is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly MS Office; Excel skills are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities, with the ability to identify and resolve procurement-related issues.
