We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at BakerHicks. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of services and equipment for our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Administer the process of procuring services and equipment for our projects
- Work closely with project teams and customers to deliver a service that meets their requirements
- Support the procurement and supply chain team with the prequalification of existing and new supply chain partners
- Support the procurement and supply chain team with the assessment of all quotes/commercial terms, as well as leading all technical and commercial analysis
- Present and gain approval of the Tender Recommendations from the customers in accordance with the Procurement Strategy and Schedule
- Expedite and support with engineering and construction teams to deliver procured items in accordance with the Project Schedule
- Experience in a procurement role within construction or engineering
- High level of proficiency in the use of general Microsoft Office software, Excel, etc.
- Experience of EU and UK supply chains
- Full UK driving license
- Experience of working with construction contractors
- Experience delivering complex procurement packages
