Uniper is a leading owner and operator of energy assets, committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2040 for its European operations. We are seeking a highly skilled Gas Turbine Combustion Engineer to join our team and support our energy transition efforts.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Gas Turbine Combustion Engineer to provide expertise in gas turbine combustion to our existing operational assets and support the development of our low-carbon projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of gas turbine combustion systems, including design, operation, and optimization. They will also have experience with dry low emissions gas turbine combustion equipment and be able to manage a portfolio of technical projects to cost, quality, and time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise in gas turbine combustion to existing operational assets
  • Support the development of Uniper's low-carbon projects
  • Take a role in customer relationship and business development opportunities
  • Work closely with our other engineering and environmental teams to advise and inform on the development of low-carbon projects
Requirements
  • Education to degree level in a relevant science or engineering subject
  • Membership of an appropriate professional institution
  • Experience with dry low emissions gas turbine combustion equipment
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of technical projects to cost, quality, and time
  • Ability to work effectively and flexibly as a member of a team and across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to write clear and concise technical reports
  • Commercially aware; understanding the environment in which they operate, including wider business capabilities and requirements
