About the Role

Uniper is seeking a highly skilled Gas Turbine Performance Engineer to join our team. As a leading owner and operator of energy assets, we are committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2040 for our European operations.

This exciting opportunity will involve providing expertise in gas turbine combustion to support the development of our low-carbon projects. You will work closely with our engineering and environmental teams to advise on the development of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise in gas turbine combustion to support the development of low-carbon projects
  • Work closely with our engineering and environmental teams to advise on the development of innovative solutions
  • Take a role in customer relationship and business development opportunities, focusing on the Uniper generation fleet and hydrogen team
  • Collaborate with our UK and European assets and project teams to deliver projects to cost, quality, and time
Requirements
  • Education to degree level in a relevant science or engineering subject
  • Experience with dry low emissions gas turbine combustion equipment, including an understanding of design intent, technical specifications, performance, and emissions
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of technical projects to cost, quality, and time, engaging closely with customers
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK or internationally for short durations to visit customer sites or industry conferences
  • Knowledge and understanding of current and future environmental legislation relevant to power plants
