Job Title: FTTP Area Manager - Service Delivery

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FTTP Area Manager to join our Service Delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team of professionals to deliver exceptional service to clients.
  2. Ensure all team members are skilled, kitted, and accredited to the standards expected by clients.
  3. Manage the performance and continuous improvement of team members through development, recognition, effective communications, field visits, and FPQ checks.
  4. Ensure that each team member is aware of the team, their individual targets, and is committed to playing a full part in achieving them.

Technical Expertise & Service Delivery:

  1. Identify opportunities for multi-skilling and cross-project working on the patch to help deliver the most efficient and effective field structure across MJ Quinn.
  2. Ensure safety and quality checks are carried out in accordance with MJ Quinn policy.

Internal/External Partnerships:

  1. Develop and sustain a strong working relationship with the client's local operational teams, encouraging collaboration and best practice.
  2. Work closely with the Operational Support Teams to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  3. Attend operational review meetings with clients and General Managers as required.

Requirements:

  1. Managerial experience in a similar role (Telecommunications industry).
  2. Holding a full clean UK driving license.
  3. Computer literate.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  5. Willingness to undertake relevant training and development.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Telecoms experience.
  2. Managerial/supervisor experience.
  3. Knowledge of the BT network.
  4. Understanding of the Fibre network.
  5. Full UK driver's license.
