About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Rail team in the South region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of regional customer accounts to deliver sales and growth targets, maximize revenue, and provide optimum service in line with our service level agreement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop effective working relationships across the Rail business and other Sunbelt Rentals departments.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, addressing their concerns and forming strong relationships.
  • Engage with customers on their safety initiatives and ensure compliance with our policies.
  • Cover the South of England and South Wales regions.

  • Experience in an Account or Project Manager role.

  • Track record in developing and implementing SLAs and delivering customer service in line with SLAs.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, with superior networking skills.
  • Strategic approach with the ability to balance day-to-day activities with a focus on delivering long-term objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate, challenge, and present to an audience.
  • Analytical skills to an intermediate level, with the ability to interpret data and impart information.
  • Strong rental expertise, with the ability to understand and explain the end-to-end rental cycle for a customer and an asset.
  • Innovative approach with the ability to move quickly to exploit business opportunities.
  • High level of personal drive and motivation for achieving stretching targets.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Rail industry knowledge and understanding.
  • Personal Track Safety Certification.
