Senior Associate - UK Fund Operations

Location: London

Employment Type: Permanent

Department: Client Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of private market funds and asset classes, including PE, Infrastructure, Real Estate, and Private Credit.
  • Collaborate with the Risk and Valuation function to ensure accurate private asset valuations.
  • Oversee the administration and NAV process of all UK private markets funds, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliations.
  • Identify and report operational and enterprise risks related to the firm's activities, implementing controls and mitigation plans as necessary.
  • Review and opine on operational aspects of fund documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Detailed understanding of fund accounting, including accruals and production of financial statements.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and ability to automate processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
