Job Summary

The Product Manager will be responsible for driving the success of the Straumann Dental Implant System (SDIS) and Biomaterials portfolio in the market. This includes developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market plans, defining product positioning and messaging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and successful launch.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates SDIS and Biomaterials from competitors.

2. Go-To-Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new products, including identifying target markets, determining pricing strategies, planning promotional activities, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure a successful product launch.

3. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor offerings.

4. Sales Enablement: Work closely with the Straumann Brand Manager to provide the sales team with the tools, training, and collateral they need to effectively sell the product.

5. Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback and data to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and satisfaction levels.

6. Product Launches: Plan and execute product launches with the Straumann Brand Manager to ensure a seamless and successful launch.

7. Product Training: Take the lead on Product Training for the full range of Straumann implants and biomaterials portfolios, for both new starters and also the existing Sales Teams who require re-training.

8. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales data, market share, customer adoption rates, and customer satisfaction metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions for future initiatives.

Requirements

1. Proven Experience in Product Marketing: Significant experience in product marketing, ideally within the dental or medical device industry.

2. Track Record of Successful Product Launches: Demonstrated success in launching new products and driving market adoption.

3. Experience with Cross-Functional Teams: Experience working in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with R&D, sales, and other departments.

4. Customer Engagement: Experience in engaging with customers, gathering feedback, and translating insights into actionable marketing strategies.

5. Budget Management: Experience managing budgets and ensuring financial objectives are met.
