Sustainable Infrastructure Ltd is a leading company in the field of sustainable materials and circular design. We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainable Materials Scientist to join our project team and contribute to the development of new textile materials and products.The successful candidate will have a strong background in textiles, fibre science, polymer science, materials science, chemical engineering, or related field. The Sustainable Materials Scientist will be responsible for researching and developing new textile materials with specific properties and applications, as well as designing and developing new textile products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing new textile materials and products with specific properties and applications
  • Designing and developing new textile-based products and overseeing their manufacturing processes
  • Optimizing textile manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Conducting tests and quality control procedures to ensure textile products meet industry standards
  • Working closely with our Senior Fibre Extrusion Scientist to identify new avenues for research and innovation
