Sustainable Infrastructure Ltd is a forward-thinking company working on a pioneering artificial intelligence waste garment project based in London. We are seeking a skilled Fibre Development Specialist to join our project team and contribute to solving a complex problem. The successful candidate will help us unlock the full potential of fibre breakdown, with a background in Nonwoven required.

The Fibre Development Specialist will be responsible for researching and developing new textile materials with specific properties and applications. This includes designing textile-based products and overseeing their manufacturing processes, ensuring quality and efficiency.

The role also involves conducting tests and quality control procedures to ensure textile products meet industry standards. Additionally, the Fibre Development Specialist will optimize textile manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in textiles, fibre science, polymer science, materials science, chemical engineering, or related field. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of tensile testing, rheology, DSC, titrations, optical microscopy, and a passion for sustainable materials and circular design.

This is a permanent opportunity based onsite 5 days a week, offering a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
