About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Fellow Haematology Specialist to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our haematology department, you will play a vital role in providing medical cover to our outpatient chemotherapy day unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical cover to the outpatient chemotherapy day unit, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Check and approve outpatient prescriptions and protocols, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Establish strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver personalized care and support.
  • Work closely with world-renowned experts in the field of haematology to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Deliver an integrative approach to cancer care, supporting patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
  • Assess patients receiving chemotherapy treatment and manage any emergencies that may arise, with guidance from the consultant in charge.
Requirements
  • MBBS medical qualification
  • GMC registration and current license to practice
  • MRCP (preferred)
  • Evidence of specialist training in internal medicine, specifically haematology and chemotherapy
