Job Title: CAR-T Clinical Fellow - Haematology

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) as a CAR-T Clinical Fellow in Haematology. The successful candidate will be part of our dynamic department, working closely with our experienced clinicians and researchers to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of innovative CAR-T therapies.

About the Role

The CAR-T Clinical Fellow will be responsible for the management of patients receiving CAR-T therapy, including outpatient care and support for patients with complications post-therapy. The role will also involve liaison with the National Cancer Centre and clinical trials team to coordinate work-up and care of patients scheduled for CAR-T and other T-cell therapies. Additionally, the fellow will review patients who attend on an emergency basis to the haematology day unit and interact with lab teams processing translational patient samples and interface with academic trials manufacturing team.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a medical degree, membership of the Royal College of Physicians or equivalent, and specialist register at time of appointment. The candidate should also have completed core medical training or equivalent and meet the competency for MT05: Significant experience in management of CAR-T patients. Published research in CAR-T or related fields is also desirable.
