About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Advisor to join our team at Bilfinger UK Limited. As a Quality Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality support to projects, including quality assurance, quality control, and audit processes.
  • Ensure that quality systems are established and managed across projects and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Proactively promote 'right first time' methodology across the business to reduce non-conformances within the project environment.
  • Collaborate with the HSE team to deliver safety awareness at site level and apply quality techniques to non-conformances.
  • Conduct internal and external audits, produce reports, and validate the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Monitor and review quality performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Oversee quality operations to ensure adherence to documentation and specifications.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with company and project requirements.
  • Prepare and review quality plans, inspection and test plans, and supporting QA documentation.
  • Attend project-related meetings and liaise with procurement teams regarding quality requirements.
Requirements
  • Good engineering and QA/QC background.
  • CQI membership or accreditation.
  • Recognized and current internal auditor qualification.
  • Full understanding of internal audits and ability to communicate outcomes.
  • Development of project QA documentation and review of supplier QA documentation.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Quality Management Systems in a regulated environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to articulate resolution tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with KPIs and performance monitoring techniques.
  • Ability to understand and interpret ISO Management System Standards, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Good communication and report writing skills.
  • Good understanding of ISO 45001.
  • +5 years' experience working in a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience or qualification in special processes such as NDT, heat treatment, surface treatment, or dimensional verification.
  • Pipework, steelwork, and insulation knowledge.
  • Detailed knowledge of related specifications.
  • Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Full clean driving license.
