About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Fawkes and Reece. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our homes meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Verify every detail of our homes, from foundation to final finishing touches, to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Benchmark each home both externally and internally to ensure customer expectations are met and certify each home meets our 5-star standards.
  • Manage your own diary to ensure homes are inspected in line with our robust quality checklist procedure.
  • Help achieve legal completion in line with our forecasted completion dates.
  • Conduct Home Ready Inspections and Ready for Occupation Inspections, prioritizing developments while maintaining strong working relationships with all sites.
  • Update COINS to ensure an accurate record is kept assisting the customer journey.
  • Engage with other stakeholders within the business to ensure results of inspections are recorded and closed-down within the correct timeframes.
  • Visit and liaise with customers and site teams to ensure completion of agreed defects.
  • Attend development meetings and contractor meetings, sharing best practices and working closely with all departments.
  • Follow up with contractors when recurring defects are highlighted.
  • Manage complaint management.
  • Work closely with the customer care team to manage the process when developments come to an end.
  • Ensure compliance with the New Home Quality Code.
  • Attend weekly build/sales meetings at Head Office.
  • Prepare monthly reports for inclusion in the Board report pack.
  • Provide periodic training to Sales Executives and Site Managers.
Requirements
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work alone and as part of a team.

  • Customer Care knowledge.
  • Knowledge of NHBC, 5-star standards, NHQC.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Ability to liaise with customers, contractors, and internal departments.
