Job Summary:
Fawkes & Reece is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company's homes meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and Verify Homes: Conduct thorough inspections of homes to ensure that they meet the company's quality standards.
- Benchmarking and Certification: Benchmark each home to ensure that it meets the company's 5-star standards and certify each home before legal completion.
- Quality Checklist Procedure: Manage your own diary to ensure that homes are inspected in line with the company's robust quality checklist procedure.
- Customer Expectations: Ensure that customer expectations are met and that homes are delivered to the highest standards.
- Compliance and Accreditation: Ensure compliance with the New Home Quality Code and maintain the company's 5-star HBF accreditation.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with customers, site teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that results of inspections are recorded and closed down within the correct timeframes.
- Defect Management: Visit and liaise with customers and site teams to ensure completion of agreed defects.
- Project Management: Attend development meetings and contractor meetings to share best practices and work closely with all departments.
- Complaint Management: Manage the process when developments come to an end and ensure that customer complaints are resolved efficiently.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly reports for inclusion in the Board report pack and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong Work Ethic: Demonstrate a strong work ethic with the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Time Management and Organization: Possess good time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Project Management Skills: Have experience in project management and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and be able to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Customer Care Knowledge: Have knowledge of customer care principles and be able to provide excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of Industry Standards: Have knowledge of industry standards, including NHBC, 5-star standards, and NHQC.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with customers, site teams, and other stakeholders.
