About the Role

We are seeking a caring and compassionate Caring Support Specialist to join our team in Airdrie and Coatbridge. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with daily living tasks, including appointments, shopping, meal planning, cooking, housework, finances, medication, and personal care.

What You Will Do

You will support individuals with disabilities and additional support needs in their daily lives. This may involve accompanying them to appointments, helping with household chores, and assisting with meal preparation. Your positive attitude, patience, and understanding will make a significant difference in their lives.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with household chores, including cleaning and laundry
  • Accompany individuals to appointments and outings
  • Help with meal preparation and cooking
  • Assist with financial management and budgeting
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A caring and compassionate attitude towards individuals with disabilities
  • The ability to work well in a team environment
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • The ability to cook simple meals and assist with household chores
  • Confidence in using computers and digital technology
Shift Patterns

We understand the importance of work-life balance and aim to be flexible with our shift patterns. Our team works between 0800-2200 hours, 7 days a week. Weekends and public holidays are included in the rota, along with occasional sleepovers on a rotational basis.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
