NHS Scotland is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services to the community. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Specialist to join our team at Airdrie Community Health Clinic.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, working 18.6 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £43,941 per annum (pro-rata). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a specialist caseload, using evidence-based practice and client-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions in both hospital and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage own specialist caseload, providing specialist advice to Occupational Therapy staff and other disciplines/agencies.
  • To develop specialist clinical skills and lead clinical audits.
  • To work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • A registered Occupational Therapist with valid HCPC Registration.
  • Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level.
  • Postgraduate expertise within speciality/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safely, effectively, and efficiently.
