Welcome to the Wellcome Genome Campus, a leading hub for genomic and biodata sciences.

We are currently seeking a highly experienced communications professional to join our team as Head of Communications.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that supports the short-term and long-term goals of the Campus.

This includes public affairs, media relations, internal and crisis communications, brand development, storytelling, and marketing.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  1. Lead the creation and execution of a communications strategy that aligns with the Campus's vision and objectives.
  2. Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, from local communities and businesses to global scientific organisations and government entities.
  3. Oversee the development of the Campus's brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
  4. Develop and implement crisis communication plans, ensuring readiness for potential PR challenges.
  5. Collaborate with external agencies to refine narrative content and visual branding.
Benefits and Salary

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
