About the Role:
  • Promote a culture of creativity and innovation in the Languages faculty, encouraging experimentation and improvement in teaching methods.
  • Implement and monitor data-driven strategies to ensure students meet their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the curriculum, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of students.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach for less-experienced teachers, guiding them towards best practices.
  • Host workshops and training sessions to enhance the language skills of students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically manage and allocate resources within the Languages faculty to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and external partners to keep them informed about the performance of students.
  • Analyze data to identify areas of underperformance and implement targeted interventions.
  • Establish partnerships with local businesses and institutions to create job opportunities and enrichment programs for students.
  • Attend conferences and seminars to stay updated on the latest research and best practices in education.
Requirements:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have experience in leading or contributing to a Languages faculty, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Show excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Be able to motivate and inspire students, staff, and stakeholders to achieve academic excellence.
