We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Environmental Specialist to join our team in the London office. As a Senior Ecologist, you will play a key role in managing project programmes and budgets, collaborating with our multi-disciplinary teams, and undertaking stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of UK Habitat survey and habitat condition assessments, experience in report writing, quality assurance, and technical lead roles for projects. You will also have a degree in ecology or a closely related field, membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), and chartership (CEcol or CEnv).

This is an excellent opportunity to work on nationally significant infrastructure projects, contributing to the development of a portfolio of ecological work in the Southern region. You will be responsible for building client relationships, managing work enquiries, and preparing bids.

With an estimated salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, this is a competitive offer that reflects the importance of this role within our organisation.
