Job Title: Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at LinkPoint Resources Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet UK and national regulations and requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about regulatory compliance and product conformance.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including government departments, suppliers, retailers, and industry bodies. You will also have a strong knowledge of legislation regarding conformity of production procedures and experience with insurance group ratings. Additionally, you will have a good understanding of legislation for end of life vehicles and high numeracy skills. Strong project management skills are essential for this role, as you will be responsible for managing product testing for security and safety, identifying and seeking approval for original or locally sourced accessories, and overseeing the recycling of products through an external vendor to meet environmental and legal requirements.

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a company car scheme, medical insurance, pension, life assurance, and additional benefits. The location for this role can be based in either Grays, Essex or Epsom, Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain good communications between departments, factories, stakeholders, and vendors
  • Manage product testing for security and safety
  • Identify and seek approval for original or locally sourced accessories
  • Ensure that all products leaving the warehouse meet UK and National regulations and requirements
  • Oversee insurance ratings for all UK products and ensure they are competitive with the market
  • Manage the recycling of products through an external vendor to meet environmental and legal requirements
  • Provide annual reports to the Environment Agency of our work and in meeting standards
  • Work with UK compliance on forthcoming legislative changes to ensure they are favourable
