We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our in-house repairs team at Watford Community Housing.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in plumbing and maintenance. As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair works to an agreed standard and providing a consistently high standard of customer service.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the trade, with qualifications in plumbing and a UK driving licence. You will also need to maintain a satisfactory basic-level DBS check.

In this role, you will work effectively and proactively with colleagues to achieve a first-class repair service. You will take personal responsibility for workmanship, ensuring a high standard of customer service and making every effort to complete works/repairs on or ahead of the target time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repair works to an agreed standard
  • Providing a consistently high standard of customer service
  • Working effectively with colleagues to achieve a first-class repair service

We offer a competitive salary of £42,000 per annum, plus benefits including 28 days' annual leave, an employer pension contribution of up to 11%, and access to a comprehensive employee rewards scheme.
