Job Title: Junior Estates Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Estates Officer to join our team at Sodexo Group. As a key member of our estates team, you will be responsible for the management of a multi-disciplinary maintenance department, ensuring all engineering maintenance is carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the maintenance of all mechanical elements of buildings, including HVAC systems, lifts, and pressure systems.
  • Develop and implement planned maintenance programmes to ensure compliance with legislation and recommended standards.
  • Oversee the management of contractors and suppliers, ensuring all work is carried out to specification and within budget.
  • Provide technical information and support to Capital Projects and other Estates personnel.
  • Assist in the management of maintenance contracts, including the preparation of documentation and tenders.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to a minimum of HNC level or equivalent in a relevant building discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the maintenance of all mechanical elements of buildings.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the management of contracts and contractors.
  • Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office software and e-mail.
  • Broad based knowledge of building engineering services.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Safe Systems of Work related to HVAC & BMS systems and general construction.
