Year 6 Teaching Assistant Opportunity in SEMH Support

We are seeking a skilled Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join our team at an inclusive primary school in Haringey, North London. This role involves supporting children with high emotional needs and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) challenges.

Job Description:
  1. Support pupils with SEMH and emotional needs, promoting a positive learning environment.
  2. Work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop and implement strategies enhancing emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with pupils, encouraging active participation and overcoming barriers to learning.
  4. Use initiative and adaptability to respond to the diverse needs of the class.
Competitive Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary between £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our team provides opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
