About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to our residents with mental health needs. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert clinical leadership and guidance, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the care team, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to our residents.
- Assess the needs of new residents and develop individualized care plans to meet their needs.
- Administer medicines in line with NMC regulations and ensure that all medication is managed safely and effectively.
- Support and mentor the care team to deliver the highest standards of nursing care.
- Contribute to the development of care policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with best practice and regulatory requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current NMC registration and a mentor or supervision qualification. You will have experience of delivering excellent care to residents with dementia, producing care plans and detailed risk assessments. You will also have up-to-date knowledge of the most recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
