Job Title: Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our team at Nightingale Nursing & Care Home. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for promoting the independence, dignity, and well-being of our residents, while also leading our team to provide the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote residents' independence, dignity, and well-being at all times
  • Lead the team to provide personal care and support with daily activities
  • Administer medication as required
  • Support carers to provide high-quality care and support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3)
  • Minimum of one year's experience in a residential or nursing home setting
  • Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning
  • Full driving license
  • Satisfactory Care Character Assessment
  • Live within 30 minutes of the home
Preferred Requirements:
  • Two years' experience in a similar role in a nursing home
  • One year's experience working in a similar role in a residential or nursing home; or
  • Two years' experience in a Senior Care role in a residential or nursing home
  • One year's experience of caring for residents living with dementia
  • NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or above
  • Experience of managing a team

Nightingale Nursing & Care Home is a purpose-built care home located in the centre of Edwinstowe, near Mansfield. We provide personal, nursing, and dementia care to 49 residents. Our home is designed to provide a homely and welcoming environment, with a selection of garden areas.
