Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated professional to join our team as an EHCP Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and coordinating referrals to ensure students receive the tailored support they need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and professionals to gather information about a child's special educational needs
  • Conduct assessments and reviews to determine the child's needs and develop effective EHCPs
  • Facilitate multi-disciplinary meetings to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Act as the central point of contact for all EHCP-related communications
  • Coordinate assessments, reviews, and meetings to ensure timely information exchange
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Liaise with educational professionals to implement EHCP provisions
  • Monitor and review the child's progress, ensuring EHCP provisions are met
  • Participate in annual reviews and evaluate EHCP effectiveness
  • Provide reports and updates to relevant authorities

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with the EHCP assessment and planning process
  • Proficient in assessing the needs of children with special educational needs
