Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EHCP Coordinator & Referral Specialist to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and managing referrals to ensure students receive personalized assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Guardians and Professionals: Work closely with guardians, parents, and professionals to compile detailed information on a child's Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Conduct Evaluations and Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify a child's needs and requirements.
  • Facilitate Cross-Disciplinary Meetings: Facilitate cross-disciplinary meetings to develop and implement EHCPs that meet the child's needs.
  • Coordinate EHCP-Related Correspondence: Serve as the central point for all EHCP-related correspondence, ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders.
  • Coordinate Evaluations and Assessments: Coordinate evaluations, assessments, and meetings to ensure efficient exchange of information and effective implementation of EHCPs.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain precise records and paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with Educational Specialists: Communicate effectively with educational specialists to enforce EHCP conditions and ensure the child's needs are met.
  • Monitor and Assess Progress: Monitor and assess the child's development, ensuring EHCP requirements are fulfilled and progress is made.
  • Submit Reports and Updates: Submit regular reports and progress updates to relevant authorities and bodies, ensuring transparency and accountability.
