Job Purpose:

The Customer Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met, and driving sales growth. This role will involve working closely with the sales team, production planning, and commercial manager to ensure seamless communication and effective execution of customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivables: Ensure customer adherence to contractual terms, proactive analysis of Power BI data, and escalation of late payments.
  • Budget/Forecasting: Generate and share comprehensive budget and rolling five-quarter forecasts, highlighting key business assumptions and potential impacts.
  • Contract Compliance and Contract Reviews: Understand customer contracts, review demand requests against contractual obligations, and relay observations and findings to customers or relevant sources.
  • Customer Relationships: Maintain open communication links with customers, cultivate and maintain good relationships, and be the inside representative for external and senior sales and commercial representatives.
  • Enquiries/Quotes: Log and enter all enquiries, prepare bid proposals, and ensure cost-work-ups and quotes are accurate and in accordance with PCC policy.
  • Weekly Reported KPIs: Include quote turnaround, lost/win ratio, and outstanding enquiries by business unit and plant.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a numerate, engineering, or business discipline.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Advanced computer skills with experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
