Salary: £9, £10,474.97 per annum including London Weighting Allowance
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our Learning Resources team as a Learning Resources Facilitator - Support. The successful candidate will provide excellent support to students and staff in our Learning Resources Centres, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the Learning Resource Centres and work as part of a team providing effective support for students and staff.
- Carry out counter duties, including using a computerized system to issue and discharge materials.
- Assist users in researching and retrieving information from the Learning Resource Centre's paper-based and computerized resources.
- Promote the Learning Resources service to students and staff.
- Support students to behave in a manner which does not prevent other students from learning.
Person Specification:
- Good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to communicate with students and staff, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work under pressure, organize own work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team and relate to, and work cooperatively with other teams across the College.
