We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to support children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) in a full-time, permanent role. As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital part in providing a nurturing and engaging learning experience for our students.

About the Job

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the classroom teacher with planning and delivering activities tailored to each student's unique abilities.
  • Providing support with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance.
  • Collaborating with professionals such as therapists and medical staff to ensure comprehensive care for each student.

The salary for this role is approximately £29,500 - £37,800 per year, based on a 5-day working week and 40 hours of work per week. This equates to around £85-£110 per day.
