Dedicated Children's Healthcare Support Worker

At HFH Healthcare, we're seeking an experienced and compassionate support worker to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll work closely with children and their families to provide specialist care and support in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.
We deliver care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, which means you can choose from a variety of shifts to suit your lifestyle and preferences. Whether you're looking for part-time or full-time work, we offer flexible scheduling options to ensure you have a good work-life balance.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You'll be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to clients, including administering medications, performing personal care tasks, and providing emotional support and companionship.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have at least 6 months of previous care experience, although full training, supervision, and support will be provided to all new hires. Our comprehensive induction program includes training on topics such as:
- Tracheostomy care
- Invasive and non-invasive ventilation
- Airway suctioning
- Cough assist
- Autonomic Dysreflexia
- Oxygen therapy and monitoring
- Bowel management
- Enteral feeding
- Epilepsy and seizure management
- Catheter care
- Complex medication administration
- Behaviours which challenge
- Complex moving and positioning
