Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Professional to join our Primary Care Mental Health team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Nurse or equivalent professional to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality care to adults with complex mental health needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and working with service users, exercising clinical judgement to identify and assess healthcare needs, and consider range of options for treatment. They will also work in partnership with service users to assess their mental health needs using sound knowledge base and clinical judgement, and where indicated deliver evidence-based brief interventions.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with GPs, Consultants, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care to service users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community mental health, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering recovery-focused care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care to adults with complex mental health needs
  • Assess and work with service users to develop tailored care plans
  • Collaborate with GPs, Consultants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Deliver evidence-based brief interventions to service users

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Nurse in Mental Health or equivalent registration
  • Minimum 12 months post-registration experience in mental health
  • Minimum 6 months community mental health experience
  • Degree in mental health nursing or equivalent
