Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Durham Lane Primary School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education to our students.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to teachers in the classroom, including assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Working with students who require additional support, including those with special educational needs
  • Assisting with the management of the classroom and maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support student learning and achievement
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive knowledge of the national curriculum, particularly in Key Stage 1
  • Experience of working in a primary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • The ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
