Deputy Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Deputy Manager to join our nursing home team in Harrogate. As the Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the Home Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents and the effective management of the home.
About the Nursing HomeOur nursing home in Harrogate provides a warm and welcoming environment for our residents, with a focus on supporting individuals with complex care requirements. We have a team of registered nurses who work closely with our care staff to ensure the smooth running of the home.
Deputy Manager Responsibilities- Support the Home Manager in the daily management and running of the care home
- Lead a team of nurses in all aspects of nursing care, including medication management, care planning, and wound care
- Ensure the individual needs of service users are met, providing opportunities for individuals to use their skills and enhance their quality of life
- Assist in quality control audits and improvement plans
- Contribute to nurse and care staff training and development programs
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse
- Experience of supporting the elderly
- Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a nursing home environment
- Right to work within the UK
- Experience in a leadership or management role
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
