Electrical Engineering Solutions Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Electronics Engineer to join our team in Stevenage. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in designing high-integrity, complex systems for motor control and feedback loops, supporting our Actuation Systems.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge products that make a significant impact worldwide. You will be responsible for circuit design, prototyping, testing, and integrating hardware to ensure our products meet quality, cost, and rate targets throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements using lean methodologies.
- Conduct capacity audits to identify bottlenecks, yield, resources, and sub-tier mapping, providing a comprehensive industrial perspective of suppliers.
- Manage daily supplier portfolio activities, reporting performance metrics and addressing supply chain risks until resolution.
- Evaluate the capability of the supply chain and suppliers to meet delivery profiles, comparing current and future states.
- Apply problem-solving skills and methodologies like DMAIC to facilitate root cause analysis and improvement plans within the supply chain.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of enhancing supplier performance.
- Strong understanding of methodologies such as DMAIC.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
