Job Description:
As a CNC Machine Operator at Engineering Recruitment PDQ, you will be responsible for operating and setting up high-precision CNC turning centres. Your primary goal is to ensure the efficient production of machined components from various materials.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Operate and set up CNC turning centres.
  • Edit programmes as required.
  • Utilize conversational systems such as Mazatrol and Hurco.
  • Maintain programme effectiveness.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols.
  • Perform general duties to optimize section efficiency.

Person Specification:
  • At least 2 years of experience in CNC setting and operation for 2-axis turning centres.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming languages (Fanuc and Mazatrol).
  • Demonstrated skills in setting and proving machinery.
  • Familiarity with login and use of measuring instruments.
  • Able to work with high complexity and accuracy.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively.

Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality systems.
  • Familiarity with mill/turn machines, Y-Axis, and/or sub-spindle operations.

This role offers an estimated salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
