Machinist Specialist

At Engineering Recruitment PDQ, we are seeking a highly skilled CNC Turner to join our team in Camberley. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with CNC Turning machines, including Mazak and Fanuc controls. Key responsibilities include setting and operating CNC Turning centres, editing programmes, utilizing conversational systems like Mazatrol and Hurco, ensuring effective programme execution, and adhering to health and safety guidelines.

• Setting and operating CNC Turning centres
• Edit and optimize CNC programmes for efficient operation
• Master conversational systems like Mazatrol and Hurco (training provided)
• Maintain effective programme execution
• Adhere to company health and safety policies

This role requires a strong background in machining techniques, materials science, and process planning. Significant post-training industrial experience or a recognized apprenticeship is highly valued. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The working hours for this position are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM, totaling 39 hours per week.

Based on industry standards and job requirements, we estimate the salary for this position to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
