Primary Care Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Care Nurse to join our team at Gatwick Immigration Removal Centre. As a Primary Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
About the RoleThe Primary Care Nurse will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients, including medication management, wound care, and health education. You will also be responsible for conducting risk assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, including medication management, wound care, and health education
- Conduct risk assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A valid nursing registration and current NMC membership
- Experience working in a primary care setting, preferably in a secure environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
