About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (Adult) to join our team at Gatwick Immigration Removal Centre. As a Primary Care Nurse, you will be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our nursing strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver nurse-led services and prevent hospital admissions
  • Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, and attend emergency response situations
  • Assess patients and undertake reception screening
  • Develop and lead clinics, and provide therapeutic interventions
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (Adult) qualification and NMC registration
  • Experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment (desirable)
  • Knowledge of therapeutic interventions, such as CBT or Steps to Wellbeing (desirable)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to a culture of shared learning
