Brief Overview

This role involves coordinating key activities for Network Rail to ensure seamless highway interface management.

Responsibilities include data collection, validation, and sharing to support highway interface projects impacting Network Rail.

The role requires preparation and submission of pre-notification information to assist highway authorities in coordinating street works.

Key aspects include:

  1. Collaboration with Network Rail teams to ensure efficient highway interface management
  2. Population, validation, and dissemination of data for street works affecting Network Rail
  3. Submission of pre-notification information to support coordinated street works activities
  4. Delivery of awareness briefings and training on legislative requirements for highway interface activities

Key qualifications include:

Essential:

Good standard of education

Good written and verbal communication skills

Significant information technology skills, including data population, analysis, and presentation

Desirable:

Significant knowledge of New Roads and Street Works legislation and associated codes of practice

Significant experience in street works management

Awareness of railway infrastructure and its functionality
