SEN Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Bodmin. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with EHCPs and working closely with the school's SENCO.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN and possess strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. They will be passionate about education and committed to continuous professional development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students with SEND and identifying their needs
  • Working with the SENCO to coordinate and monitor provision
  • Ensuring records are maintained and up-to-date
  • Reviewing education, health, and care plans with parents and students
  • Communicating regularly with parents and carers
  • Liaising with relevant agencies regarding student admissions

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEN, preferably in a UK setting
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for education and commitment to continuous professional development
