Workforce Services IT Manager

Your typical day as a Workforce Services IT Manager could start with reviewing the program of works in flight or within the commissioning process.
As a skilled IT professional, you will meet with team members to ensure they are on track with their day-to-day workload and project deliverables.
You will provide expert input as a product subject matter expert, ensuring improvements made to systems within your capability provide a positive experience for residents.
You will be a hands-on person, playing an integral part in the IT Delivery Management team, helping shape and accelerate the journey towards modern services for Peabody.
With a focus on the delivery of support and change to Peabody's management system, you will actively manage and develop the teams and individuals who maintain and enhance the system.
You will be responsible for ensuring effective planning and transition to operations while managing change delivery activities.
You should be an excellent communicator, energized by leading and developing your teams, and able to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and targets while committed to helping people flourish.
To be successful in this role, you should:
- be experienced and knowledgeable about Workforce Services management systems, ideally within the social housing domain
- be passionate about implementing best practice in solutions delivery through all stages of development, with a working knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as ITIL, Agile, etc.
- be organized with the ability to self-manage a diverse and varied workload and the workload and deliverables of others, prioritizing work effectively
- be qualified to degree level or have extensive industry experience
- be prepared to develop your system knowledge, business knowledge, and change management skills and ensure your teams are supported in doing the same
